Cast all your anxiety on the Lord, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7
God is not the author of confusion but of peace. 1 Cor 14:33
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble. Psalm 46:1
Whenever anxiety, fear, confusion, worry, etc, cripples you or brings you down, you can be certain that it is not of the Lord. He is the opposite of all of this. You can trust Him with your life and everything in it. You can lay everything - all your worries, fears, anxiety, confusion, etc - at His feet and know that you are safely in His great care.
I wish you will provide a Daily Bread here about what is grace? I would really appreciate it Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteI found while in the midst of thewse tragic thoughts that if we take no thought of them, then not one of them can captivate the believer, and thus the believer could hear the inward ( The Holy Spirit of truth) and walk right through the fire and not be burned, thus acting out truth and thus being content no matter what the tradgedy is in front of them, for it is now behind them in their knowing god will and has gotten them through it, by taking no thoughts of the enemy (powers of the air) Thanks again Joel for the ministry God has provided through you Howard
ReplyDeleteHoward... great to hear from you! Hope you've been well.
ReplyDeleteThat's powerful stuff that you've said here. So much of our daily experience of life is in our thinking. How much would we so much more fully enjoy our life in Christ if indeed we were to take our thoughts captive rather than allowing our thoughts to take us captive!
