Law in the life of a Christian makes about as much sense as...

Law in the life of a Christian makes about as much sense as this poem we used to say when I was a schoolboy in England years ago. It went something like this...

One fine day in the middle of the night
A fire broke out in the ocean
A blind man saw it, a deaf man heard it
And a man with no legs ran to get the fire brigade
Who arrived as fast as a funeral
And ran over two dead cats and nearly killed them.

  1. LOL!! Wow...Good thing the cats didn't get killed though! Phew!

  2. Ryan had this to say:

    "One bright, stormy night,
Two dead boys got up to fight,
Back to back they faced each other,
Drew their swords and shot each other,
A deaf policeman heard the noise,
Came and killed the two dead boys,
If you do not believe my lie is true,
Ask the blind man; he saw it too. "

    :)...Nonsensical...the law for a dead man...good one!

  3. Matthew... yep, phew! The last thing you want to happen to your dead cats is for them to die. :)

RJW... Seems like I've heard that one in the past too. LOL, good one. :)

Yup... nonsensical all the way around.

  4. ooh funny, I like Ryan's too!!!

  5. Hey Joel...not sure i understand the poem...doesnt make sense...its like an antiparadox

  6. Ohhh, Ryan...Thats funky fresh, papa cat. *snap snap*

  7. Joel,
I had this feeling that "screendoor" phrase was going to appear!

Matthew, Don't make me wet my pants laughing...Ryan the beatnik...right...

  8. LOL

So Joel has PETA come after you for the “two dead cats”…? :)

  9. Ha ha! You are all funny. =D

    "Antiparadox..." LOL!

There is going to be an investigation. They can't figure out if the dead cats are actually dead or if the fire brigade only almost killed the dead cats.

  10. Well at least they weren’t dogs….

Hmmm were cats around before the Fall? :)
