Big Differences

For quite some time I've had an idea of something that I've wanted to do on this blog, but I guess what has held me back is that I haven't figured out exactly how I'm going to do it. I want to do short posts that point out the differences between the Old Covenant and New Covenant, or between living by law and living by grace, and things like that. A few years ago I caught myself using the phrase "there's a big difference" quite often when I would record my thoughts onto a recorder.

At times I've made lists of differences/contrasts in my own notes. In the past I've posted some of those on this blog. Bino and others have created lists, too, such as this recent one, Religion Vs. True Grace. Well, since this is a rather informal blog, I guess there's no need for me to try to find some formal or flashy way to do this, so I think I'll just get started on it! I guess the way that I'll begin going about this is by posting them at intervals, in a similar way to On Coffee's "random" posts such as this recent one, Random 41, and Steve McVey's "101 Lies" posts such as this recent one, "Lie #21 We Need To Continually Ask God To Forgive Our Sins."

There is a Big Difference between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. They are not the same and we're not living under some of one and some of the other. There is a Big Difference between grace and law. There is a Big Difference in how we go about living our lives, based upon all of this!

  1. I'm looking forward to what you have to say. It should be good.

  2. Thanks, friends. I'm hoping it will be encouraging.
