What's right with you

Why is the focus in the church seemingly always "what's wrong with you?" So many things in Christianity seem to be focused on trying to fix what's wrong with people.

How about teaching the finished work of Jesus and what's right with people for a change!

  1. Religions focus is always dealing with the fleshly outer man!

  2. Rich... exactly! There's always going to be something that seems or appears as if it needs to be 'fixed' on the outer man, and you're right, that's right where religion focuses. But that's not who we are... we are the inner man, who has become a new creation that God has perfected forever. If we live from that place, it's a whole new perspective.

  3. Weeeell, now, Breeze, Christianity couldn't be the most profitable behavior modification program ever if THE GOSPEL was taught, could it?? ;D

  4. Exactly, Jamie. Why bother with the gospel when we've got our own little tool kits that we carry around with us to fix others!!
