I'm in You, You're in Me

This is perhaps my third time posting this song in my almost-three years of blogging. Yearly isn't nearly enough, in my opinion! One of the best love songs ever, and one that brings tears to my eyes as I think of the love relationship between our Divine Lover and us. Two versions of the song below... one from 1977 and a live one from 1995.

I don't care where I go
When I'm with you
When I cry
You don't laugh
'Cause you know me

I'm in you
You're in me
I'm in you
You're in me
'Cause you gave me the love
Love that I never had
Yes, you gave me the love
Love that I never had

You and I don't pretend
~We make love~
I can't feel anymore than I'm singing

I'm in you
You're in me
I'm in you
You're with me
'Cause you gave me the love
Love that I never had
You gave me the love
Love that I never had

Come so far when you think of last fall
You can't buy what we made, you and I
I'm in you
You're in me
I'm in you
You're with me
'Cause you gave me the love
Love that I never had
Yes, you gave me the love
Love that I never had
You gave me the love
Love that I never had

I don't care where I go
When I'm with you

If you've got some extra time, here's a live version of Peter Frampton's "Do You Feel Like We Do" from 2008. Fun, and rockin'.

  1. "I don't care where I go when I'm with you" really stuck out to me this time around.
