Hammered Dulcimer - Rich Mullins and Third Day

Third Day - Praise Song (Rich Mullins on Hammered Dulcimer)

Rich Mullins - Creed (Rich Mullins on Hammered Dulcimer)
-I have the accompaniment tape for this song. It's such beautiful music that I often listen to just the soundtrack. Sometimes with my eyes closed and tears streaming down my cheeks, and sometimes with my arms in the air and a huge smile on my face.
-I love the children smiling near the end of the video, and Rich's playful interaction with them.
-Did I mention, I love the sound of the hammered dulcimer?

Hammered Dulcimer? Hendrix and the Who were hammering Strats in the late 60's!!!

I like that, Joel. :)

A little deeper: In simply declaring what he believed people were drawn to him and were happy. That's why it's "the Good News". The truth of God's Love & Grace still sets people free.

Thanks.

Drat! I posted a comment and it vanished into thin air! I'll have to make the 'redo' a quick one.

WC,

You'll never believe it, but I had planned on blogging a couple of videos, one from The Who and one from Hendrix, tonight!

Not! ;)

RJW,

I used to sing this song in church, and it was my favorite song to sing. Often during the part of the song that kind of builds to a climax -

I believe in the Holy Spirit
One Holy Church
The communion of Saints
The forgiveness of sin
I believe in the resurrection
I believe in life that never ends...

- I would look out and see eyes closed, and then at this part I would see hands go up in the air and beaming smiles on faces. Tears would often stream down my face as well.

You know you're thinking it, so just say it!
(Seasoned with grace, of course). :)
