  1. :o) This is a great way to start the day!

Mat 11:29 Walk with me and work with me--watch how I do it. Learn the unforced "rhythms" of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.

    Thanks for sharing, Joel!

  2. That proves it even Sesame Street can’t save country music!

On the other hand Bono and Sesame Street would be great :)

  3. Sheryl,

Yeah, I was actually looking for something else when I came across this video. I used to see this from time to time when my kids watched Sesame Street. On the serious side of things, it always reminded me of the church and how we all work together. On the lighter side, if I was flipping through the channels and my kids weren't around, I'd still keep it on Sesame Street if that song was on, and then I'd keep watching even after the song was over. ;)

    Livingsword,

Garth Brooks, Clint Black, Hank Jr... that was about all I could handle back in the day. :) Nowadays all I can really say is that country music is a lot like the Law... it provokes sin in me. ;)

  4. I hear you! I am truly a kid at heart. I still love to watch Disney movies and animated things and I would watch them if it was only me here. :o)

  5. I've got another confession to make. One time there were six of us adults getting together to play games, and we thought we'd find something for the kids to do while we played. So we put in the Veggie Tales Silly Songs DVD for them to watch. Pretty soon, the kids all ran off somewhere else and there we all were (the adults) watching the Veggie Tales video! We didn't catch ourselves until about the 3rd or 4th song. :)

  6. *joining in the confession*

*Ahem*....I happen to love Veggie Tales and know every single song, by heart I might add on the Silly Songs album. *sigh* Sad perhaps, but true nonetheless. LOL
